Tkiyet Um Ali started distributing 4,500 food parcels as part of the emergency relief campaign that includes the Jordan Valley area in order to mitigate the economic burdens caused by the lockdown on the area’s residents.  Earlier, Tkiyet Um Ali had received, for the second time a grant of one million JODs from Himmat Watan Fund, to secure food aid to families that are most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tkiyet Um Ali also distributed 4,000 hygiene kits to endorsed families in the Jordan Valley area that were received as a donation from UNICEF.

The Hygiene kits were distributed to Tkiyet Um Ali’s endorsed families that were affected by the lockdown measures that were taken due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the area to help them protect themselves from the virus.
