Arab Bank Continues Its Support for Tkiyet Um Ali’s "Back to School" Campaign

Amman — Reaffirming its commitment to poverty alleviation and equal educational opportunities, Arab Bank has renewed its support for Tkiyet Um Ali’s (TUA) 2026 "Back to School" campaign. The initiative helps marginalized children across Jordan pursue their education with dignity and confidence.

Reflecting the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, this partnership eases the financial burden on vulnerable families at the start of the academic year. Through this initiative, 500 school uniforms are being distributed to primary and preparatory school students, alongside 500 raincoats for youth aged 6 to 17.

In a collaborative effort between TUA and its sister organization, Dar Abu Abdullah (DAA), all uniforms and coats were locally produced at DAA workshops by economically empowered women. This approach promotes responsible procurement while transforming charitable assistance into sustainable community development.

Further driving community engagement, Arab Bank employees volunteered throughout the month to pack and distribute the educational supplies across various governorates.

Samer Balkar, Director General of Tkiyet Um Ali, stated:

"We are proud of our ongoing partnership with Arab Bank for the second consecutive year. This collaboration demonstrates a shared dedication to empowering marginalized children and easing household burdens. It also highlights the vital role cross-sector partnerships play in creating meaningful, long-term social impact."

Currently, Tkiyet Um Ali delivers monthly food parcels to 20,000 families living below the food poverty line across the Kingdom, securing their basic nutritional needs year-round.
